mark beattie - president
Mark is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned his degree in Agronomy. Orignally from Saratoga, Wyoming, Mark is a third generation outfitter. Mark is currently a licensed outfitter in Montana and licensed guide in Wyoming. He also holds a United States Coast Guard Captains License. Mark also is the Director of Outdoor Adventures for Rock Creek Cattle Company in Montana. From hunting trophy Brown bears in Alaska to guiding out of the drift boat in Montana, he’s a passionate and avid outdoorsman.
ed beattie - chairman
A graduate of the University of Wyoming, Ed holds degrees in Forestry and Natural Sciences, as well as a minor in English.ﾠ A licensed Professional Outfitter & Guide since 1980 and International Hunting & Fishing Consultant since 1988, Ed is widely respected throughout the industry for his expertise regarding international sporting travel.
He has hunted and fished throughout all of North America, Central America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim.ﾠ An accomplished mountain hunter, Ed has achieved the coveted Grand Slam of North American wild sheep, as well as successfully completing multiple alpine hunts in both Europe and Asia.
A published author of both hunting and fishing articles, as well as chapters of sporting books, he has also hosted, co-hosted and arranged dozens of outdoor television shows. While a very avid hunter, Ed’s favorite pastime is fly-fishing for trout and he’s most at home on a trout stream with either a fly rod in his hands, or at the oars of a drift boat.ﾠ Ed’s longtime experience as a Professional Outfitter & Guide, as well an International Hunting & Fishing Consultant, is invaluable to our clients and the worldwide network of outfitters that we represent.
ralph chapman - vice-president
A very accomplished big game hunter, Ralph has completed a Grand Slam of North American wild sheep, as well as successfully taking many other exceptional North American and worldwide trophies.ﾠ While he thoroughly enjoys many different types of hunting and fishing venues, Ralph’s passion is the pursuit of trophy whitetails.
ryan beattie - Consultant/Attorney
Having grown up in the industry, Ryan began hunting and fishing at a very young age. His sporting travels have taken him from Africa to Alaska, where he has taken many species of big game, fish and birds. Ryan has also guided hunters and managed camps in both Nebraska and Wyoming. In addition to serving as a Five Star Consultant, Ryan is currently practicing law throughout the country in the field of mass torts and is based out of Montgomery, Alabama.
Scot Spragins - Secretary/Treasurer
With hunting experience ranging from African safaris to alpine hunts in New Zealand, as well as many worldwide fishing expeditions, Scot is an avid and enthusiastic outdoorsman.ﾠ He is also widely regarded for his business acumen and we regularly rely on him for advice and leadership.ﾠ His passion is waterfowl, upland bird and turkey hunting, and he has completed a Grand Slam of wild turkeys.
wendy willford - Bookkeeper & Office Manager
Our bookkeeper since we started the business in 1991, Wendy keeps meticulous financial records; is a computer whizz; and always willing to help out around the office.ﾠ She’s also a serious outdoorswoman and loves to scuba dive, fly fish, ski and camp out.ﾠ A Wyoming native and from fifth generation Wyoming ranch families on both sides, she’s comfortable in any outdoor setting.
Chrissy Lindorff - IT expert & Web Design
Chrissy has been working in the IT field since 2010. She specializes in networking, web design and programming. She designed and created the Five Star website and runs all our finalized multimedia IT marketing material. Her full time job is working as an airline pilot while running a small construction company in her spare time, and lives in Montana with partner Mark Beattie.
From Australia, Chrissy has been hunting since she was a young girl, hunting predominantly Kangaroos and Camels in the Australian outback.
